Training Innovations offers private personal training in two convenient Albuquerque locations. If you are considering working with us but are unsure, here are answers to some common questions that may help you to get a better idea of what you can expect from our program:
How Do I Get Started?
Give us a call to set up your free initial consultation. This consultation helps us to get to know you and understand your current fitness level as well as your goals. This allows our trainers to create a personalized training program to help you attain the next level of fitness and performance. The consultation will generally last about 30 minutes, and it will lay the groundwork for the rest of the program.
What should I wear to my consultation?
You won’t need to wear any workout gear – this initial consultation will be mostly talking! However, you should wear something loose and comfortable. One of the things we’ll do at the consultation is perform a body fat composition test, and that is easier and more accurate with loose-fitting clothes than something tighter.
What Type of Clients Do You Work With?
We work with a variety of different clients all with varied skill levels and goals. If you are committed to improving your health and fitness through diet and exercise, we can help! We work with beginners and experienced athletes alike and can help you achieve your fitness goals like reducing body fat, increasing strength, improving endurance and building muscle. We also offer sports-specific training to high school, college and professional athletes looking to improve their performance in a specific activity.

What Will Happen in the First Training Session?
After your initial consultation, we’ll schedule an initial training session that will establish a baseline of your fitness level and physique. During this session, we’ll assess the strengths and weaknesses of muscle groups in your body so that we can work to achieve greater balance in your physique. We’ll also work with you to clearly define your goals and lay out a personalized, step-by-step fitness plan.
When can I expect to see results?
As long as you stick with our program and put in the effort, you should begin seeing early results within the first week. The first thing you’ll notice is an increase in energy, followed by a decrease in body fat. On average, our clients lose between 5-8% of their body fat during the first six weeks. However, results will vary due to genetics, age, motivation and other factors. We will monitor your progress between sessions and modify our approach as necessary to keep you moving toward your goals.

How much does your program cost?
Because our training programs are personalized to the individual, costs can vary. We’ll discuss the final price with you during your free initial consultation. We offer many things that you won’t receive at a traditional gym, such as:
